1. Warm-up & Lexicon (10 min)

Open Phase 1: Lexicon Decks. Play native audio for the 6 concept decks. Have students repeat in chorus and individual pairs to master technical phonetics.

2. Interactive Simulator (15 min)

Switch to Phase 2: Simulator. Guide learners through the 3 interactive challenges. Ask checking questions: "What happens if we adjust this parameter?"

3. Spoken Dialogues (15 min)

Assign partner roles in Phase 3: Spoken Dialogues. Students practice the 5 scenario frames, alternating speaker and responder roles in fluent English.

4. Ethics & Certification (10 min)

Debate Phase 4: Ethics Dilemmas. Then guide all students to Phase 5: Star Award, click the certificate button, and celebrate with confetti!

Pair up with a fellow driver to complete these 3 realistic border scenarios during class:

Scenario 1: Seal # Mismatch

Report to the CBP officer that the physical bolt seal on your trailer doors differs from the seal number printed on the BOL manifest.

Scenario 2: Scale Weight Variance

Call your fleet dispatcher after weighing at a certified scale where your gross weight is 1,200 lbs over the manifest weight.

Scenario 3: Shortage & OS&D Notation

Request the warehouse manager to sign the BOL with "Subject to Count" or "2 Pallets Short" before leaving the loading dock.
